CARD’s Fresno, California Office to Host Screening of Award-Winning Documentary, Recovered

CARD Fresno will host a free screening of the award-winning documentary, Recovered: Journeys Through the Autism Spectrum and Back, on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at the Children’s Hospital in Madera, California.

Recovered is considered an “amazing, must-see” documentary about four children who have recovered from the autism spectrum.

The film presents documentation of therapy sessions along with  interviews of the children, their parents, therapists and  CARD’s founder and executive director.

Their combined stories illuminate both their struggles and triumphs while providing hope to families of newly diagnosed children that recovery is indeed possible.

A question and answer session will follow the screening.
