CARD Founder and Executive Director Dr. Doreen Granpeesheh invites you to join CARD on June 18, 2011 for a barbecue fundraiser for Austin Beutner in Hidden Hills, California.
Austin Beutner recently served as the deputy mayor of Los Angeles, tasked with solving some of the city’s largest economic problems. Austin has vast expertise in creating, building, and managing large businesses, and supporters believe that this experience will enable him to reform the citywide bureaucratic systems that often stifle efforts for improvement.

With Austin as mayor, families will feel assured having someone in a leadership position with a genuine interest in improving services for our children. Austin not only understands what children with autism need, he understands the struggles experienced by their families as they seek advice, funding, and quality interventions. Austin’s personal interest in the autism spectrum will give Los Angeles schools the attention and support they need to improve their services and train their teachers.
