Stephanie’s Day this year was full of smiles and hugs as family’s from all over the southern California area gathered at the CBS lot in Studio City, CA to show support and acceptance for autism. This year CARD had a table at the event and what a great turnout!!
The lot was packed with families going from booth to booth, as well as there were musical performances and of course an appearance from Stephanie (whom the day is named after) as well as her parents!
It was a great day to see families out and enjoying the sun and the community of fellow families. As well there was a great turnout of autism organizations and resources available for families to browse through.
Stephanie’s Dad described the day as: ‘What you see is what you get. Hugs, hugs, and more hugs.’
What is your favorite autism event to attend. Let us know and we’ll try and make it out!
