November 14th Continuing Education Seminar

In partnership with CARD, the Institute for Behavioral Training (IBT) is offering an option for autism professionals to get continuing education units (CE’s) . On November 11th IBT is hosting a live webinar for BCBA’s and BCABA’s entitled “Monsters on Board – Maximizing Practitioner Effectiveness with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)”. The webinar will last 2 and a half hours and will offer 3 credits with a cost of just $75!

emPOWERing Autism Parents Part 2

In this episode, Nancy Alspaugh-Jackson, Executive Director of Autism Care and Treatment Today!, shares a message of hope and emPOWERment for Autism parents in the form of a fun and funky rap song. This is the second in a series of videos to help parents turn their “disability” into an opportunity!

IBT – Online and Group Training in ABA for Autism

The Institute for Behavioral Training (IBT) provides courses on research-proven techniques using applied behavior analysis for the treatment of autism. IBT offers online elearning videos, face-to-face training, BCBA supervision and continuing education classes.

Parent Support Group

Parent Support Group

For parents with children on the autism spectrum, we would like to invite you to join a support group in order to share your experiences, trials and triumphs with parents in a similar situation. This group will be designed to inform, as well as to allow an open forum and safe place for discussion, sharing stories, asking questions, seeking and sharing advice, and so on.

Individual Counseling

As of this month (October) CARD is proud to announce that we now offer individual counseling for children and teens on the spectrum!

8th Annual Back to School & More Autism/Asperger’s Conference

That also means that the Back to School & More Autism/Asperger’s conference is happening! This Saturday, August 10th and 11th the Pasadena Convention Center is playing host to the Back to School event! Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from some of the leaders of the autism community and best prepare yourself and your child for the upcoming school year!
