2012 ACT Today Golf Tournament

CARD’s marketing team showed up in full-force to volunteer at the 6th Annual ACT Today Golf Tournament. Sponsors, like CARD, and participators contributed almost $85,000 to benefit military children with autism. The tournament was held on August 27, 2012 at the North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, California.

2011 Annual Charity Golf Classic For Autism

This last Monday, ACT Today! hosted the 2011 Annual Charity Golf Classic to raise money and awareness for autism.This year’s event was hosted by Joe Mantegna (The Godfather Part III, Searching For Bobby Fischer, Forget Paris, Criminal Minds)who is the father of a daughter with autism. The event was filled with a wide-range of celebrities including Michael Reagan (Ronald Reagan’s son) to Jason Gedrick (Backdraft, The Last Don) all coming together to promote awareness for autism.

Actor Joe Mantegna Hosts Annual Charity Golf Classic Presented by CARD

Actor Joe Mantegna (Criminal Minds) will host ACT Today!’s (Autism Care and Treatment Today!) 5th Annual Charity Golf Classic presented by the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, Inc. The tournament will be held on Monday, September 12, 2011 at the North Ranch Country Club, in Westlake Village, California. Proceeds from the fundraiser will provide resources and treatment for children with autism whose families cannot afford the necessary tools that their child needs to achieve their full potential. Mantegna, who has a daughter with autism, is calling on the community to show their support for autism care and treatment.

Ernie Els, Making a Difference in the Autism Community with Golf

The Els for Autism Foundation was created in 2009 and since then, many events have been held to help raise the set goal of $30 million for the Els For Autism Center of Excellence. These centers will host researchers, as well as medical and clinical specialists that will communicate with and guide families in education and therapy programs. This free, digital service is part of the goal is to connect families all over the world with best practices for their children on the autism spectrum.” said Liezl Els, Ernie Els wife and co creator of the Foundation.
